Where we are
The yard is at the marina, 3040 Dutch Slough Rd, Oakley, CA 94561, on Dutch Slough at the foot of the Bethel Island bridge. That is the whole argument for dry boat storage on the Delta rather than at a yard in town: the place you leave it is the place you launch it. The office is open 24 hours, 7 days a week and the map is here — come and look at the space before you commit to anything.
Why store it here rather than at home
A boat on a trailer at the house is a boat you have to tow before you can use it. Most of east Contra Costa County is a tow away from the water even though the water is right there — from Oakley, Brentwood, Antioch or Discovery Bay the trip to the ramp is the reason the boat sits under a cover all summer. Storing on Bethel Island, at the marina you launch from, takes the towing out of the day: you drive over, the boat is already here, and it is in the water at our ramp. It also gets the trailer off the side of the house, which in most of these neighbourhoods is a conversation with an HOA waiting to happen.
Some people also keep the trailer here while the boat is in a slip, so the two are in one place. If that is what you are after, ask about a covered or open slip at the same time and we will price them together.
